I came across this Italian Walk of Fame site and while I do not know Mr. DeGasperis I do want to take this opportunity to congratulate him on his phenomenal achievements and wish him and his family every continued success. More relevantly I thank him for what he does for the community at large and the Italian community in particular. Churches and hospitals are two items worthy of mentioning. Having grown up in the 50 and 60 the Italians have fought a negative image and it is people like Mr. DeGasperis that has helped us to create a positive image. I have always wanted to express these words of thanks to Mr. DeGasperis and his family and I am very happy that this platform has given me the opportunity to do just that. I thank you for all you do for our community and I wish you all continued success and may God Bless you all.

Anyone that understand the position of Goaltending will kno what Luongo is one of the rgeatest Golatenders in the league. World and Gold Medal Champion! Every year is is great and consistently a top goalie in the league. Very few goalies can make claim to this. Not even Tim Thomas who just cam einto the NHL at 30 years of age and last year he was the back up. Before Luongo became the Canucks starter Goalie, the Cunucks went through 18 first starter goalies since Maclean. Burke calls playing goalie in Vanvcouver a Grave yard for goalies. Do you know the pressure and stamina it takes to play as a first starter goalie in a Canadian city and last as long as he has? Every goalie has bad games; even the most winning goalie Brodeur; do you remember the olympics? I can't stomach the ignorance to this position! Congrats award well deserved!!

I would like to congratulate Roberto Luongo but would also like to nominate JASON MUZZATTI to receive a spot on the Italian walk of fame!!! Not only has he played for the NHL, he has also personally played in goal for the Italian team 2006 Olympics.

Both Kris & I are very happy for you, actually I shed a tear, way to go Bobby. What a coincidence, Sept 5 is the 10 year anniversary since Pope John Paul 2 blessed the Torch. We are carrying it that day in Nicholas Green's memory, his dad will be with us. Who know we might be coming by, hope we can, love you, give a big hug to Robert
