Jimi Bertucci, Co-Founder, Chairman
Jimi Bertucci is best known as the founding member and lead singer-songwriter of the hugely successful Canadian pop/rock group, Abraham’s Children, who splashed onto the 70′s music charts with what would become a string of hit songs that continue to be heard on radio stations across the country today. Jimi later went on to become in-house writer and producer for United Artists Records before embarking on a solo career and signing with the prestigious label A&M Records. His musical career has brought him international acclaim having recorded in both English and Italian. In 2005 he received the prestigious Certosa Award for his exceptional contribution to the Arts. Jimi Bertucci was born in Calabria, Italy, but spent most of his childhood in Toronto, Canada. He currently divides his time between Toronto and Los Angeles.
Marisa Beaco Lang, Co-Founder, President/CEO
Although a graduate of Toronto’s York University with a major in Psychology, Marisa’s passion for the entertainment field never left her. She decided to leave an established academic career in Psychiatric Research and form her own company Marisa Lang Management (MLM). Over the years MLM would go on to manage some very important artists and administer an extensive catalogue of music for James Bert Publishing, of which Marisa is part owner. Her company WOW2210 Productions is currently producing a reality TV sitcom titled “All About Me” starring Nick Mancuso and Jimi Bertucci. Marisa Lang was born in Trieste, Italy, and lived there for brief periods during her youth but has spent the majority of her life in Toronto, Canada.
